Tournament Format
Each team will play multiple pool-play matches against other teams in their division. The goal is to give every team a fair number of games before playoff rounds begin.
After round robin play is completed, the top teams from each division will advance to the playoff bracket based on overall standings.
Match Format
Playoff and medal matches may be played to 11 or 15 points, win by 2, depending on the final schedule.
The tournament director has the right to adjust scoring formats if needed to keep the event running on time.

Standings & Tiebreakers
Teams will be ranked after round robin play using the following order:
1. Overall match record
2. Head-to-head result
3. Point differential
4. Points scored
5. Tournament director decision, if needed
All final decisions regarding standings, tiebreakers, and playoff qualification will be made by the tournament director.
Check-In & Start Times
Teams that arrive late may be subject to a forfeit or may not be allowed to enter the division once play has started.
Players are responsible for knowing their scheduled division time and being ready when their match is called.

DUPR Rating Requirement
Players must register in the correct division based on their current DUPR rating, skill level, and tournament history.
If a player does not have a DUPR rating, the tournament director may review their playing history and place them in the appropriate division.
Strict Sandbagging Policy
RJ Grand Slam has a zero-tolerance policy for sandbagging.
Sandbagging means entering a division below your true skill level in order to gain an unfair advantage. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Registering below your current DUPR level
- Hiding or misrepresenting your true playing ability
- Using an outdated or inaccurate rating to enter a lower division
- Playing down when you regularly compete or win at a higher level
- Partnering with a lower-rated player to manipulate the division level
The tournament director reserves the right to review all player ratings, match history, DUPR history, and past tournament results.
If a player or team is found to be sandbagging, RJ Grand Slam may take any of the following actions:
- Move the team to a higher division
- Remove the team from the event without refund
- Disqualify the team from prize money, medals, or awards
- Ban the player or team from future RJ Grand Slam events
All sandbagging decisions are final and made at the discretion of the tournament director.

Sportsmanship
Unsportsmanlike behavior, arguing, cheating, abusive language, or disrespect toward players, staff, spectators, or tournament officials may result in removal from the event without refund.
